09 Nov Dear Ariel…
Estimated reading time: 1 and a half minutes
You are 9 Months old this week and oh what a beautiful little girl you are! You are thriving. You have such a lovely nature and you are very pretty. I love each and every day we spend together and would not change it for the world.
You love your hands, fascinated in fact. You study them all the time. Even the OT has commented on how much you love to study them. You love to play patty cake and you were the one who initiated it with me…… you are so smart!! You also present them to me after you eat so I can wipe them clean. Maybe one day you will work with your hands.
Like me, you love classical music. Every afternoon when I am preparing your dinner we put baby Mozart or baby Beethoven on the Ipad and you are mesmerised. I think you may even recognise Fur Elise as I payed it to you on the piano while I was pregnant. Beautiful girl…. <3
You love the phone and want to know what is going on in there. You use your little fingers on the screen and also swipe. I am very impressed.
You are still sleeping through the night like a good girl. You go to bed without a fuss and wake up smiling.
You are sitting independently even if only for a short while. You are up on all fours trying your very best to start crawling and it will be any day now. I cant say it enough how determined you are. You love toys and are extremely curious.
I take you to the pool every week to play and improve your muscle tone. You love it! You get excited when we arrive and once we are in you kick and splash. It makes me happy to see you enjoying yourself so much.
You have started to babble your first little baby words. Dadadadadada and Bababababababa. I am still waiting for mumumumumum but I am sure that will come soon.
You are very friendly and have started reaching out to other people. You love other kiddies and get right up in their face to introduce yourself. You are very cute and I am proud of you, more than words could ever really say…
