Lifestyle changes….

So much has happened in the last year that I want to share.

I became vegan last year for ethical reasons and it has had such a positive affect on my life physically, mentally and spiritually. At 1Skin we will be a completely vegan range so I will be slowly phasing out all of the non vegan lip products over this year and reintroducing them without beeswax.

I turned 40 last year. strangely I had been waiting to say that for the last 2 years…..

Thanks to becoming vegan I also fell pregnant. I had been trying for a year. After I changed to a vegan diet I was pregnant the following month….

On the 13th of Feb at 1 minute past midnight I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Ariel. She is the most precious gift I have ever received. Not only because she is a beautiful baby but she also has Down Syndrome. We did not know she had Down Syndrome and was told she had symptoms before I even got off the birth table. The lifestyle changes and life lessons she has already given to me are some of the best in my life so far. I think we need to do a 1Skin baby balm and a beautiful candle named Ariel to celebrate her arrival! I will get onto this after I am back from maternity leave.

I would like to add my journey with Ariel to this blog. I will also be active in the Down Syndrome community and adding them to our list of charities.
